What this checks, and what it cannot
Support dates come from endoflife.date, an open dataset that cites vendor announcements. Shutdown, acquisition, breach and pricing events come from this site's archive, each linked to its primary source. Anything not found is reported as unknown — which means nothing was found, not that it is safe. Coverage is strongest for languages, databases, infrastructure and developer tooling. Business SaaS is weakly covered. Verify against the vendor before making a compliance decision.
Privacy
The check runs in your browser against a static file. The technologies you enter are never transmitted — not to this site, not to anyone. No account, no email, no cookies, no tracking. The only thing recorded is that a check happened and how many items were in it. A shareable link contains only the names you typed, and nothing else.
